A large school complex with four main staircases and a terrace needed functional barriers, but also wished to inspire its students. In collaboration with a Dutch artist we designed a playful pattern where each staircase has its own unique tree. Each tree represents a world of thinking. Flying montages as birds were our personal favourite.
